Training & Placement Cell

The goal of training & placement cell is to provide employment opportunities and world class training to GNDPC students in the leading organizations. The cell is well equipped with complete infrastructure in terms of seminar hall, consultancy hall for pre-placement talks and presentations etc.

Mechanism Of Training

Training is an organized procedure for increasing the knowledge and skill of students for definite purpose. In the industrial training the student will acquire new skills to be performing their job effectively and efficiently.

It is the responsibility of the institution to arrange the training of their students through training and placement cell. In this regards, our polytechnic college has signed MOU’s with many industries. In some of cases the students arrange their training at their own level. To arrange training, a request letter of student is forwarded to the industries and Govt. Sectors. Then accordingly the students are sent to respective organizations for training. The performance of students during training is regularly monitored a team of faculty members.

The following guidelines are given to students undergoing industrial training.

• They should carry out their training sincerely with full dedication towards their work.
• They have to clear about the concept of training and carry out the projects as per directions of their guide.
• They have to strictly follow the rules i.e. timing and also record their daily attendance register accordingly.
• They have to maintain their daily diary.

After completion of training the students will submit training certificate and daily diaries to the department coordinator. The student shall also prepare training report at the end of training and will present it is a class seminar, which will be evaluated by HOD & coordinator/ Lecturer incharge training.
